How does truSculpt iD works?

truSculpt iD is a noninvasive body sculpting treatment that involves an external handpiece. No anesthesia is required. After your personalized treatment plan has been developed, the procedure will take place at our office in about 15 – 30 minutes, depending on the size and number of areas addressed. The device uses advanced Radio Frequency (RF) to heat and kill the intended fat cells. This energy is applied to your treatment areas in cycles of 15 minutes with controlled, comfortable pulses of heat. The fat is heated, which causes the cells to break down and die. Your body will then naturally absorb and expel the demolished fat cells. Radio Frequency technology also has the potential to stimulate your body's production of collagen, which will tighten your skin and enhance your results over time.

What can I expect from the treatment?

Following your treatment, you may experience some redness or tenderness, but these side effects typically dissipate after a few hours or couple of days. Because the truSculpt iD specifically addresses unwanted fat cells, it will not harm or disrupt the skin of the treated or surrounding area. Rather, this procedure tightens the skin and reduces the amount of fat for improved dimension and definition.

Many of our clients achieve a substantial reduction in the amount of fat cells in their targeted area after just one session, but you may require multiple appointments scheduled 6-8 weeks apart to achieve your ideal results. Dr. Navarra will let you know how many treatments you should receive when he develops your customized non-surgical body sculpting program.

What areas can be treated?

As this procedure involves several handpieces the treatment can be customized for any body areas. There are no predefined molds or patterns needed to be used. The procedure will adjust to your individual needs.

How soon can I go back to my normal routine?

Non-Surgical body sculpting is a noninvasive procedure that requires no anesthesia, incisions, or sutures. This means that you will have little to no downtime whatsoever. The vast majority of our patients report that the treatment causes little to no discomfort and they are able to return to their normal routines immediately following their treatment.

Can I use body sculpting for weight loss?

No, body sculpting should not be used as means to lose weight. If you're at or near your ideal body weight, but still experience difficulties with stubborn pockets of fat that won't respond to your healthy diet and exercise routine, then non-surgical body sculpting with truSculpt iD could be your answer.
